Laura Maldoon, BSN, RN, CHPN is an Advanced Clinician RN Navigator with the Advanced Illness Management (AIM) team at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA. She earned her undergraduate degree at California State University, Long Beach and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Palliative Care through the University of Maryland.
With over 10 years of nursing experience, Laura specializes in guiding patients and families through complex care decisions, focusing on quality of life and aligning what matters most. Her work centers on interdisciplinary collaboration, patient advocacy, and improving access to palliative services across care settings.
