Dr. Javier Zaglul is a current Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellow at the Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and completed his residency training at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus in Hialeah, Florida, where he provided comprehensive care to underserved populations.
Dr. Zaglul earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine. His professional experience encompasses inpatient and outpatient care, as well as clinical and administrative roles, offering him a broad perspective on healthcare delivery. These experiences have cultivated a deep appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration and the critical role of compassionate communication in promoting patient-centered care.
He maintains a strong interest in the integration of technology and innovation in medicine, recognizing their potential to improve both clinical outcomes and the patient experience. His personal experiences as a husband and father further inform his empathetic and family-centered approach to supporting patients and their loved ones through serious illness and end-of-life care.
