Shannon Michel Wynn is currently a Pediatric Palliative Care attending at Connecticut Children's in Hartford, CT. She hales from Virginia, graduating from The College of William & Mary with a Bachelor's in Anthropology and going on to receive her MD from Virginia Common Wealth University School or Medicine/Medical College of Virgina. Subsequently she completed her residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at Loyola University outside of Chicago, IL and then Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellow at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, completing the Med-peds track: splitting her time between OSU and Nationwide Children's Hospital. She has a growing interest in Quality Improvement, Code Status communication and policy, as well as electronic medical record optimization. Outside of medicine, Shannon is involved in political advocacy, and enjoys reading, needlecraft, and mostly spending time with her daughter, husband, and dog.
