Laura Knaur, MSW, LISW-S, Cert. Death Doula (she/they)

Director of Hospice & Palliative Care
Nationwide Children's Hospital

Laura Knaur is Director of Hospice and Home-Based Palliative Care at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She has served in that role for thireen years and is an expert in pediatric hospice and concurrent hospice care as well as pediatric palliative care. Laura serves as a pediatric advisor for The National Alliance for Care at Home. Laura's pediatric hospice and palliative care team consists of seven disciplines, all providing expert pediatric care in the patient home, serving nine counties in Central Ohio. Laura has been a licensed social worker for twenty-five years and is a certified death doula.
