Keri Brenner, MD, MPA is a palliative care physician and psychiatrist at Stanford University. She was inspired to care for patients with serious life-limiting illness after serving at Mother Teresa's Home for the Dying in Kolkata, India on multiple occasions. Dr. Brenner earned her medical degree at Yale School of Medicine and completed a Master in Public Administration, psychiatry residency & palliative care fellowship at Harvard. She served on the University of Notre Dame Board of Trustees (2005-2008). She is passionate about the psychological aspects of serious illness care and communication. In her personal life, Dr. Brenner enjoys the outdoors of Northern California with her husband and four young children.
