Alexi A. Wright, MD MPH, is the Director of Gynecologic Oncology Outcomes Research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on evaluating the quality and effectiveness of cancer care and using that knowledge to identify strategic opportunities to intervene to improve care for patients and their family caregivers. Dr. Wright harnesses data from cancer registries, administrative claims, and multi-center cohort studies to understand factors driving inequities to develop scalable interventions to provide more equitable care. She has received funding from the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Nursing Research, the National Palliative Care Research Center, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the American Cancer Society. She has received multiple awards, including the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s George P. Canellos Award for Excellence in Clinical Investigation and Patient Care, the Harvard Medical School A. Clifford Barger Excellence in Mentoring Award, and she has been inducted into the American Society of Clinical Investigation.
