Associate Professor
NYU Langone Health
I am a biostatistician in the Department of Population Health at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. I am focused on designing and analyzing clinical trials to evaluate health services innovations to improve outcomes for underserved populations. I have been the lead biostatistician on numerous National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded studies, including three multi-site, cluster randomized experiments: (1) PRIM-ER, a 35-site study which is using stepped-wedge pragmatic design funded through an NIH UG3/UH3 mechanism that is part of an NIH Collaboratory; (2) EMPallA, a PCORI-funded multi-site trial evaluating Emergency Department-initiated palliative care in older adults; (3) the Hospice Advanced Dementia Symptom Management and Quality of Life Trial, a national stepped wedge design cluster randomized trial. I am also currently serving as an executive committee member of the Design and Statistics of the NIA IMPACT Collaboratory, which focuses on interventions to improve quality of life for people living with dementia.
