Michelle A. Quan, MD

Fellow Physician
UCSD/Scripps Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship

Michelle Quan, MD, is a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellow at UC San Diego/Scripps. She completed internal medicine residency, served as chief resident, and practiced as an attending physician at UC Davis, where she developed strong interests in medical education and quality improvement. Her clinical interests include complex pain and symptom management, serious illness communication, and caring for patients with high psychosocial and medical complexity across inpatient and outpatient settings. She is particularly interested in systems-level approaches to improving palliative care delivery.
