Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics
UNC School of Medicine

I am an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in the UNC Palliative Care Program with fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. I conduct research combining the resources of the UNC Palliative Care Program with UNC Project Malawi’s Cancer Program, where I serve as the Division Lead of Palliative Care. My research focuses on palliative care outcome measures and culturally relevant palliative medicine interventions, to further advance palliative medicine in rural, low-resource settings.
