Wendy Anderson is a Palliative Care Physician and Chief of the Division of Palliative Care at Alameda Health System, the safety net health system for Alameda County. She is also Volunteer Professor in the UCSF School of Medicine. Her work focuses on serious illness communication and using implementation science to promote generalist palliative care. She is senior faculty for VitalTalk, a nonprofit that teaches serious illness communication.
