Resident Physician
John Muir Health
As a family medicine resident physician, I am passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan. My early research experience focused on bench-based studies examining the impact of biomimetic substrates in cell engineering. During medical school, I transitioned to patient-centered clinical research, including investigations of preoperative geriatric assessments prior to urologic surgery. My current research interests center on hospice and palliative care, with a focus on how family medicine physicians can effectively integrate palliative care and advance care planning discussions into routine clinical practice. I am also interested in examining core functions of primary care—such as continuity, comprehensiveness, and accessibility—and in developing frameworks, including a Primary Care Scorecard, to better illustrate and measure these functions.
