Rebecca Goett, MD, associate professor, is a palliative care physician at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ
Prior to her transition to full time palliative care, she worked at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark both in emergency medicine and palliative care and led the Palliative Care scholarly track at Rutgers NJMS. Nationally, she is past chair elect for American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) palliative care section and founded AAHPM Emergency Medicine special interest group and served as its founding chair. In the past, she has presented concurrent sessions at American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM), American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), and Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM)in a variety of emergency medicine-hospice and palliative medicine topics
