Dr. Santosh Yatam Ganesh received his medical degree from Kakatiya Medical College,Warangal, India, in 2007. He subsequently earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, and completed his residency in InternalMedicine at the University at Bualo–Catholic Health System, Bualo, New York, in 2013. Following over a decade of clinical experience as a hospitalist, Dr. Yatam Ganesh joined fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston in November 2024. Upon completion, he joined the faculty as
an Assistant Professor in the Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation, and Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Yatam Ganesh’s academic interests lie in the development and evaluation of novel therapeutic approaches for symptom management in palliative care populations. His current research focuses on the assessment and treatment of pain and respiratory symptoms, including chronic cough and dyspnea.
