Brittany Cowfer, MD (she/her/hers)

Pediatric Palliative Care Physician and Oncologist
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Dr. Cowfer is a dual-trained pediatric oncologist and palliative care physician at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. She is a faculty member in the Division of Quality of Life and Palliative Care. She is also an associate program director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed fellowships at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Hematology/Oncology) and Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital (Hospice & Palliative Medicine). Her research interests include medical education, particularly communication training; prognostic communication in pediatric oncology; and palliative care in pediatric oncology.
