Miranda Beach is a Scrum Master at Highmark Health, where she has spent five years supporting Enhanced Community Care Management (ECCM), a community-based palliative and supportive program. In this role, she partners with cross-functional teams to organize complex work, navigate ambiguity, and solve problems using Agile frameworks and human-centered design. Miranda holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Prior to joining Highmark Health, she worked in health and wellness promotion through the University of Pittsburgh. Her work involved group fitness, personal training, and community-based education. Before that, she adapted wellness content for UPMC Health Plan members, developing a foundation in motivational interviewing and person-centered communication to support behavior change.
