Data Manager
University of Washington
I am a Biostatistician at the University of Washington and an experienced Master’s educated researcher. I have worked for the last 22 years collaborating at the University of Washington in the design, implementation, and rigorous evaluation of behavioral interventions within Phase I, II and III clinical trials and in the conduct and statistical analysis of several NIH-funded studies, pilot feasibility studies and a current RCT with parents with stage IV cancer. All these studies focus on helping household family members better manage the impact of cancers of all stages and types.
I have over 20 years of experience in the conduct of descriptive model testing studies and clinical trials research in serious medical illness. I am skilled in multivariate analyses and in collaborating with senior scientists in the testing of predictive models using Linear Mixed Models, logistic regression models, and their extensions. I have comparable experience in data management across multiple sites and multiple states as well as monitoring enrollment and attrition in multi-state clinical trials. I am expert in the conduct of interim analyses in all studies that enable investigators to conduct multiple secondary analyses during on-going studies in addition to the primary analyses. I also bring psychometric analyses experiences to each study and am very experienced in developing REDCap surveys that are easy to complete and well accepted by patients.
