David Nowels has practiced and taught Family and Palliative Medicine at University of Colorao for many years. He was the Program Director for the HPM Fellowship at CU from 2005 - 2023. He has also served as a member of the test writing committee for HPM certificaiton exams, on the FM RC, and currently as a FM representative on the HPM Advisory Committee for Co-sponsoring Boards.
