Dr. Elizabeth Lindenberger is a Geriatrician, Palliative Medicine Physician, and Interim Chief for the Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Her career has focused on improving the care of older adults and those with serious illness through educational innovation and program development. She serves as Director of the MGH Continuum Project, a program aimed at improving the serious illness experience for patients, clinicians, and staff through interprofessional training, systems improvement, and culture change. Additionally, Dr. Lindenberger has a long track record of developing innovative clinical models of outpatient palliative care delivery and integrating palliative care into the care of patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS and dementia.
