Dr. N. M. Mujeeb Rahman is a palliative care physician and public health advocate from Kerala, India. He serves as the Medical Director of the Institute of Palliative Medicine (IPM), Kozhikode, a WHO Collaborating Centre for Community Participation in Palliative Care and Long-Term Care.
He is also a co-founder of the Global Palliative Doctors Network (GPDN), an international community of nearly 800 physicians from around 70 countries dedicated to shared learning and mutual support in palliative care development worldwide.
Dr. Rahman is actively engaged in training programmes for doctors, nurses, volunteers, and family caregivers, promoting the philosophy of caregiving as a life skill and a shared social responsibility. He frequently speaks and writes on compassionate health systems, community ownership of care, and equitable access to palliative care globally.
