Social Worker

Brooke Heilman, MSW, LSW, is a pediatric palliative care social worker within the Justin Michael Ingerman Center for Palliative Care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She currently provides inpatient palliative care support in addition to supporting the design, development, and implementation of “PPC@Home”, CHOP’s community based palliative care pilot program. Brooke attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore for her master’s in social work and has a background in pediatric oncology and trauma counseling in the school setting. She is most passionate about providing equitable, accessible, trauma informed, and goal concordant care for children and their families.
