Dr. Nouri is an Assistant Professor and the Associate Chief for Community and Opportunity in the Division of Palliative Medicine. She specializes in caring for people with serious illness in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Dr. Nouri's research is focused on leveraging digital health to achieve equity in access to high quality palliative care among racially, ethnically, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse populations. She is committed to mentoring learners and increasing workforce diversity in palliative care. Dr. Nouri is a member of the San Francisco Palliative Care Workgroup's Steering Committee and of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
