Ramón Rodriguez, MD is a palliative care physician and an academic hospitalist practicing within the Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Division of General Internal Medicine and Primary Care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). He also serves as the Director of Medical Student and Trainee Enrichment through the Office of Faculty and Trainee Enrichment in the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Department of Medicine. Ramón is deeply committed to medical education, mentorship, and advancing end-of-life care for patients who often face barriers to care. Ramón earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his medical degree from Columbia University, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internal medicine residency at BWH, followed by fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine at the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship program. He returned to BWH as a chief medical resident in 2024-2025. He formally joined on as MGB faculty in 2025.
