Michael C. Matthews, MD (he/him/his)

Assistant Professor
Rush University Medical Center

Michael Matthews is an assistant professor in the Division of Geriatric & Palliative Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before going on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In addition to teaching students, residents, and fellows in the inpatient setting, he has specific interests in advanced symptom management and communication skill education.
