Dr Mei-Ean Yeow is a consultant in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. She is originally from Singapore and did her medical training at the University of Oxford in the UK. After moving to the US, she did her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine and went on to complete a Critical Care Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Her interests include the intersection of critical care and palliative care, cross-cultural care and communication and curriculum development. Outside of work, she spends a large amount of time at the baseball field cheering her children on as well as personal pet therapy time with her dog and cats.
