Karen Hande is a Professor of Nursing and the Chair of the Health Promotions, Populations, and Health Systems Department at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. A certified nurse educator (CNE), Karen has been an advanced practice nurse educator for more than 15 years. Karen actively practices as an adult nurse practitioner in the Symptom and Palliative Oncology Care Clinic at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). Karen is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP) and the National League for Nursing Academy of Nursing Education (ANEF).
