Dr. Carly Levy is a pediatric palliative care physician and educator dedicated to improving the lives of children with serious and chronic illnesses. She serves as the Program Director of the Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware, and is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics through Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.
In addition to her clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Levy is engaged in national educational initiatives focused on advancing the training of hospice and palliative medicine fellows and enhancing the skills of non-palliative care providers in delivering high-quality care for children with serious illness. She frequently lectures on pediatric palliative care topics and contributes to the academic literature as an author of peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Levy’s scholarly work centers on medical education, with a focus on teaching communication and primary palliative care skills to trainees and interdisciplinary clinicians. Through these efforts, she aims to expand the reach of pediatric palliative care by enhancing the skills of all clinicians who care for seriously ill children and their families.
