Kayla Overstreet, CPNP (she/her/hers)

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Carolina Caring

Kayla Overstreet is a Pediatric Palliative Nurse Practitioner with Carolina Caring’s Cardinal Kids team in North Carolina. A graduate of the UAB School of Nursing, she trained and practived in pediatric palliative care at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta before transitioning into home-based pediatric palliative and hospice care in 2021. Kayla now provides in-home hospice and palliative care to children across 12 counties in the Charlotte metro area and is helping to define the home-based pediatric palliative APRN role through program development, education, and community collaboration. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) Pediatric Special Interest Group.
