Dr. Griffin Collins is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and palliative care and hospice physician at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He is driven by a passion for ensuring that all children and families facing serious illness have equitable access to high quality palliative care. He is a leader in exploring the role of palliative care for people with sickle cell disease and is working to develop adaptable models of palliative care that serve the unique needs of people affected by sickle cell disease. He is a clinician at heart and enjoys adapting clinical tools that facilitate finding meaning in the important work of palliative medicine. He and his wife, Hannah, are the proud parents of 4 young children who keep him busy going on stroller runs, making kombucha, and playing princesses.
