Medical Director, Hospice and Palliative Care

Dr. Meyerson is a physician and the Medical Director for Hospice and Palliative Care at the Veterans Affairs Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS). She completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center and fellowship training through the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship program in Boston, Massachusetts. Since completing fellowship, Dr. Meyerson has worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, starting her career in Boston prior to transferring to VANEOHS. Through her work with veterans facing serious illnesses, she developed an interest in and has written and presented on topics at the intersection of mental health and palliative care, including trauma-informed care, palliative care and serious mental illness, and suicidality at end of life.
