Courtney Bitz, LICSW, OSW-C, ACHP-SW, is the Senior Director, Division of Social Work in the Department of Supportive Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Courtney has been in the field of psycho-oncology and palliative care for over 20 years specializing in evidence-based intervention modalities, concurrent program development, program implementation, and organizational development. Courtney was awarded Oncology Social Worker of the Year in 2020 by the National Association of Oncology Social Work for her contributions to the field. Courtney has published in Psycho-Oncology, Oxford University Press, and the Journal of Supportive Care in Cancer. She has presented her work at numerous international and national professional conferences including World Congress of Psycho-Oncology, American Psychosocial Oncology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
