Kacey Boyle, MSPC, RN, CHPN
Kacey is a certified hospice and palliative care nurse and an expert advance care planning facilitator. She serves as Associate Director and Senior Faculty with TalkVermont, an initiative improving serious illness conversations across the University of Vermont Health Network. She is dedicated to interprofessional education and empowering clinicians through evidence-based communication skills training.
Kacey earned her nursing degree from New York University and a Master of Science in Palliative Care from the University of Colorado Denver. Her clinical experience includes hospice, inpatient palliative care, and the Emergency Department at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
In her role with TalkVermont, Kacey leads serious illness communication training for students and clinicians throughout the network. She also teaches nationally as Senior Faculty with VitalTalk and has contributed to curriculum development with the Center to Advance Palliative Care, ACGME, and Dana-Farber.
Kacey is passionate about equipping clinicians with practical communication tools and advancing values-based advance care planning that supports meaningful bedside decision-making.
