Mariana Khawand-Azoulai, MD is a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician, Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She currently serves as the Program Director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, Medical Director of Inpatient Palliative Services at the University of Miami Health System, and Palliative Medicine Leader for Jackson Health System. Dr. Khawand-Azoulai has worked in fellowship education since 2019. Dr. Khawand-Azoulai's interests include medical education, narrative medicine, and advance care planning, with a focus on bridging inequities for racial ethnic and racial minorities.
