Grace Desmond is a second-year medical student at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University and spent her gap year working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on an Alzheimer’s disease TMS/EEG research study. Grace has a strong interest in neurology and the care of older adults, particularly at the intersection of neurodegenerative disease, palliative care, and quality of life. She volunteers in hospice settings and is committed to improving care for patients with serious illness and their families.
