I am a doubly board-certified and fellowship-trained medical oncologist and palliative care physician caring primarily for patients with pancreas, biliary, esophagogastric, colon, and other gastrointestinal cancers. I work closely with an interprofessional and multidisciplinary team across the biopsychosocial spectrum to provide the best treatment and individualized care for each patient with these diseases. My research focuses on improving the delivery of care to patients and their families by optimally integrating cancer care with palliative medicine, with the overall goal of reducing distress and maximizing quality living for people with serious illnesses like cancer.
