Danielle DeCourcey, MD, MPH is a pediatric critical care physician with a clinical and research interest in palliative care focused on improving the care of children with serious illness, particularly those with medical complexity. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and an Attending Physician at Boston Children's Hospital where she also serves as the Associate Division Chief of Medical Critical Care.Building upon her prior research, her current work is focused on expanding primary palliative care through the creation of a framework to support non-palliative care clinicians in communicating with children, adolescents, and young adults with serious illness and their families to improve longitudinal advance care planning.
