Dr. Lisa Herrmann is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a pediatric hospitalist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). She is the Director of Education for the Division of Hospital Medicine, serves as co-director of the Cincinnati Children's Pediatric Hospital Medicine Board Review Course and Academic Bootcamp, and co-teaches the Research Methods Course for the University of Cincinnati Masters of Medical Education. Dr. Herrmann received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia and completed her pediatric residency at CCHMC. She then completed a pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Children’s National in Washington, DC, in conjunction with obtaining a Masters of Education from The George Washington University. She subsequently joined the pediatric hospital medicine faculty at CCHMC in 2016 where she works on the general hospital medicine teams, as well as the inpatient complex care team. Dr. Herrmann is a graduate of the APA’s Educational Scholars Program (ESP) and currently is the chair of the ESP Research Committee. She has presented her education, clinical, and quality improvement scholarship at the local and national level.
