Allison Silverstein is a Pediatric Palliative Medicine Physician and joined University of Colorado/Children’s Hospital Colorado faculty after training in Houston at Texas Children’s Hospital and Memphis at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital/Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. She currently serves as the Inpatient Medical Director and Physician Informaticist for her Section of Palliative Medicine. She also serves as the current Chair for the AAHPM Pediatrics Council. She has a passion for global health and spent two years working in sub-Saharan Africa. She recently completed an Executive MBA in Health Administration and has a background in program development, education, and clinical research. She is specifically interested in advancing DHEI research and initiatives, furthering discussions and measurement of dignity in pediatrics, and honoring the legacies of children at end of life.
