Chae Man (Jay) Lee, Ph.D. is a researcher with focusing on health disparity, health promotion, health equity, aging-friendly community, and driving safety among older adults. Regarding with his extensive experiences in working with large data bases, including the Health and Retirement Study, crash related data such as General Estimate System and Fatality Analysis Reporting System, the American community survey from the US Census Bureau, claims data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), survey data from each state’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), and a variety of other data sources, he led all analytical procedures such as data management, database construction and design. His research related to the healthy aging data report has significant implications for an aging society. As a trained interdisciplinary quantitative methodology, he utilizes secondary data for his research on health disparity, health promotion, and health equity. He has fluent skills in statistical applications such as STATA, SAS, SPSS, and ARCGIS.
