Andrea Kamouyerou is a public health professional with extensive experience in community health and nonprofit service. She holds a Masters of Public Health and has dedicated many years to advancing programs that support vulnerable populations and strengthen community well‑being. Over the course of her 10 years at Highmark Health, Andrea has leveraged her expertise in project management and workflow optimization to drive meaningful operational improvements. She currently supports the Enhanced Community Care Management (ECCM) team. ECCM provides longitudinal, multidisciplinary care management for patients living with serious or complex illness between clinical visits. The program operates as an extension of the patient's existing care team, partnering with physicians to coordinate care, support medication management, and address medical, behavioral, and social factors that affect outcomes. Through this model, ECCM helps stabilize care plans, improve continuity, and reduce avoidable emergency department visits and hospitalizations.
