Lead pharmacist for pain and palliative care

Ashley E. Johnson, PharmD is the Clinical Pharmacist Lead for Hospice, Pain, and Palliative Care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Johnson earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2017 from the University of Connecticut. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency in home infusion followed by a PGY2 pharmacy residency in pain management and palliative care.
Dr. Johnson joined the team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in August 2019 in her current role as Clinical Pharmacist Lead. In this role, Dr. Johnson provides clinical and operational support to the institution with particular focus on the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care. She is co-chair of the Dartmouth Health System Opioid Stewardship Committee. She also serves as the PGY1 Acute Care Pharmacy Residency Coordinator. Her areas of professional interest include symptom management at end of life and opioid stewardship.
