Rebecca Rodin is a clinician scientist and Assistant Professor of Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed medical school at McMaster University in Canada and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto, followed by a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has a master's degree in Medical Anthropology from the University of Oxford and experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She currently conducts health services and policy research using population-level data among older adults with serious illness, with funding from the American Cancer Society Clinician Scientist Development Award R03 and the National Institute on Health GEMSSTAR R03 award to evaluate the impact of opioid policy on pain management for older adults with serious illnesses.
