Sofia Weiss Goitiandia (she/her/hers) is an interdisciplinary scholar and public health advocate striving to leverage research to advance human health and social justice. With an academic background spanning biological natural sciences, social sciences, and philosophy, she aims to weave together diverse theoretical and methodological orientations to offer new perspectives on contemporary health and social issues. Her research and advocacy are animated by interests in serious illness care, ethics, health equity, anti-racism, queer studies, and disability studies.
