Dr. Clarissa Durand-Rougely completed her Internal Medicine residency at Unity Health, a community healthcare system in Searcy, Arkansas where she was appointed Chief Resident. She went on to complete Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at The University of North Carolina, where she currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor. As an attending physician her faculty duties include supervising medical students, residents and fellows in the inpatient and hospice settings. In addition, she maintains an outpatient palliative care clinic within the cancer hospital. She holds an active interest in addressing health inequities and disparities among racial/ethnic minority populations.
