Amy Linsky, MD, MSc is a clinician-investigator at the Center for Health Optimization and Implementation Research (CHOIR), the New England Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC), and the Section of General Internal Medicine at VA Boston Healthcare System. She is an Associate Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
Dr. Linsky’s research focuses on reducing low-value and potentially harmful care. She studies deprescribing, advance care planning, patient-clinician communication, and shared decision-making. She uses a variety of methods, including qualitative, survey, secondary database, and interventions to better understand how to improve safe and judicious use of healthcare.
