Isaac Martinez is a medical student with a strong interest in pediatric palliative care and end-of-life research. Previously working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), he focused on end-of-life care research for children with cancer, with particular attention to reducing barriers to high-quality care and addressing disparities affecting children and their families. Building on this experience, Isaac is pursuing a career in medicine with the goal of making a lasting impact on pediatric palliative care and ensuring that every child and family receives compassionate, equitable support during the most difficult stages of illness.
