Edward J Miech is a Research Scientist at Regenstrief Institute with over a decade of experience in health services research and implementation science. Over the last five years, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with dozens of project teams in the United States to apply Coincidence Analysis (CNA) to healthcare research, and in the process has become an expert in the approach and the most-published CNA researcher in the world. He is also the founding leader of “All Things Configured,” an international community of practice focused on configurational analysis that has over 185 active members located in 15 different countries. Dr. Miech has delivered multiple presentations on CNA at national conferences and has helped organize and lead workshops on Coincidence Analysis that have been attended by hundreds of health services researchers. Dr. Miech has successfully conducted configurational analyses on over 50 datasets and co-authored over 25 CNA publications since 2020 with over 100 collaborators. These articles have appeared in journals including Annals of Family Medicine, Medical Care, JGIM, Implementation Science, The Gerontologist, Hepatology, BMJ Open, Applied Psychology and the Journal of Mixed Methods Research.
