Dr. Jon (JJ) Furuno is an epidemiologist and clinical research in the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy. His research program focuses on patient safety with an emphasis on improving medication prescribing in nursing homes, at end-of-life, and during transitions of care. This work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Oregon Health Authority, and industry.
