Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner
University of Virginia

Katharine Merrill, MSN, AGACNP-BC is an outpatient palliative care nurse practitioner at the University of Virginia with a clinical focus on sickle cell disease and gynecologic oncology. She is passionate about advancing equitable access to palliative care and improving care delivery for patients with serious illness. Her poster presents findings from a national survey evaluating palliative care program involvement in sickle cell disease.
