Lissette Nahab is the Associate Director of Operations at UC San Diego Health, where she oversees the Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine clinical service lines. She is passionate about strengthening care models for patients and families facing serious illness and supporting the interprofessional teams who make that work possible. Her background includes clinical operations, program development, and clinical research across academic health systems, with a particular interest in building strong team culture and driving data‑informed improvements. Lissette joined UC San Diego Health’s Palliative Care team in 2018 and feels deeply grateful to work in a field grounded in compassion, clarity, and humanity.
